A private bank led by the statement itself: near-black, gold hairlines, tabular figures, and holdings that open to explain why they are there.
The brief
What it had to do.
Wealth sites usually show a lighthouse and a couple on a beach. The brief was the opposite: show the actual statement, because the product is competence and the proof is the numbers.
Design approach
The decisions behind it.
- Serif headings against tabular figures, so numbers align down the column
- Gold at hairline weight only, never as a fill
- Density treated as respect for the reader's time rather than as clutter
Signature interaction
Portfolio panel with range switching
Range tabs redraw the chart from one month to five years, and each holding expands in place with the reason it is held.
On a phone
Usable before anything loads.
Holdings stack into labelled rows and the chart keeps full width.
